ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Bennett - FounderBennett’s compassion for the youth began in his childhood days in Nigeria. He lost his father at the tender age of nine, and watched his mother struggle to raise him and his five siblings. As a child, Bennett began to own adult responsibilities by doing various jobs to support his struggling mother. He worked while attending school. Despite the hardship placed upon Bennett and his family, his mother ensured that the family stayed together and valued even the smallest things they earned through hard work. Bennett has continued his mother’s tradition of hard work and family values.

Through his years of struggling, Bennett has learned the values of getting an education and having the support of his family. He worked his way up from an arduous elementary and high school education to obtaining a college degree in Engineering Science and Architecture. After his graduation, Bennett began a rewarding career in Engineering and then transitioned to the Information Technology field. Blessed to rise above abject poverty to a lucrative career, he wanted to share his success with underprivileged young people.

Bennett carried the burden for young people for many years until 2002, when he finally decided to take action. The incorporation of Family Heritage Foundation (FHF) is the birth of a vision to impact the lives of young people. Bennett’s vision is to impact families, locally and in developing nations, by creating educational and career opportunities for youth and their families. He believes that families should be involved in the entire developmental process of their children. He is also working with a strong team of Directors and partners with other organizations to fulfill this vision.

“Family is a gift from God, the first essential cell of human social Relationship”
